Whilst our front end offering is car rental, our back end processes are driven towards detailed and focused average days management. Average rental periods have a huge impact on total car rental spend.

Our service offering includes managing and minimizing the total rental period:

  • Nudging friday rentals to monday
  • Meeting the insured at the repairer ensuring the rental vehicle is not delivered prior to the rental starting
  • Constant interaction with repairers on extensions and terminations
  • Collection of the rental vehicle on the same day the repair is completed

The entire rental process is administered by Gage Car Hire and Royal Administrators which includes:

  • Contacting the client to arrange the rental
  • SMS confirmation of reservation to the renter
  • Email confirmation to claims handlers
  • Collection of the rental vehicle on the same day the repair is completed
  • 24hr and 48hr notification of extensions
  • Liaising with claims handlers on all extensions and terminations of rentals
  • Option of extending the rental for the renters own account

Insurance

Gage Car Hire and Royal Administrators are not satisfied with the cover offered directly to the insured by car rental companies. We have at our own expense insured all rentals as per the insured’s underlying policy.

Invoicing

Invoices are automatically generated on terming of a rental vehicle and are customised to meet the needs of the short term insurance industry by reflecting the name of the insured, driver of the rental vehicle, claims handler and claim number. Various options are available when settling a car rental claim:.

Invoices are emailed directly to the claims handlers twenty four hours after termination of rental

Excess Waiver

Gage Car Hire offers an excess waiver to all renters. At the time of rental and at a nominal fee per day, the cost of which would be for the renters account, the insured can elect to accept the optional excess waiver cover whereby in the event of a claim the insureds excess on the rental vehicle will be waived

Corporate Rentals

Gage Car Hire and Royal Administrators service offering is extended to include corporate rentals on our clients behalf, All executives and senior managers details would be placed on record ensuring a simplified process when renting a vehicle:
  • All executives and senior managers are able to use Gage Car Hire’s ‘fast track service’
  • No deposit required at time of rental as all costs will be billed to the clients corporate account
  • Simply collect the rental keys and drive off
